By accessing or using Document Repository ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
Document Repository is a web-based platform that allows individuals and teams to create, manage, and collaborate on structured documents. Features and functionality may change over time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes.
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Our IP: The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your data), is owned by Document Repository and protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.
Your content: You retain ownership of all documents and data you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take reasonable steps to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Document Repository's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss (including loss of data, revenue, or profits) arising from your use of the Service.
Australian Consumer Law: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or other applicable Australian legislation. Where such guarantees apply, our liability is limited to re-supplying the relevant service or paying the cost of re-supply, at our discretion.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to us or other users. We will provide reasonable notice where practicable. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia for any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service.
